Hi women,
I've also got a LeMond for sale, and mine is on eBay. It's in the sporting goods > cycling > road bikes... > complete bikes > other category. It's a 2003 Tourmalet with a Reynolds steel frame, Shimano 105 rear derailleur and Tiagra other components. Also included are an extra set of kevlar tires and clipless pedals.

I rode it fewer than 10 times in the 6 mos I've owned it, and it's got about 100 miles on it. I really like it, but it's just not the right fit for me (was my first road bike, and I got a little excited by the looks, reasonable price, and other features, sigh :o). More info is on the site, and please feel free to ask questions!

I can sympathize, it's so hard to figure out the right fit on your first road bike, there's so much to get accustomed to!

I've been pretty fortunate with the fit on my first road bike, but even still, over the last couple of months I switched to narrower handlebars, and I just recently put on a new stem with a shorter top length. These are things you just don't know until you know, I suppose.

CS, I hope you found (or will find) a bike that fits you better!

Thanks, jobob, I appreciate the support! Yeah, nothing like getting the *wrong* bike to make you determined to find the right one next time! I think it was so different to my old commuting cruiser, like you said, I thought it was something I'd just get used to.

I've found one I like, but I'm still looking and trying til this one sells. After reading some of the messages in other threads, I have a new list of models to try! I know the LeMond belongs to someone out there, and I'm all for helping it find its soul (seat?) mate. At least now I feel more educated and less intimidated.
