Amici Veloci Shorts?

Howdy ya'll:

SadieKates tease about the red Velo shorts matching the AV jerseys made me think......


How many would like to have matching shorts with logo to go with their AV jerseys? This is Just in the interest stage right now, nothing at all has been done. I'll list the very rough cost and the minimum required in order to do this if there's enough interest.

Shorts would range somewhere between $55 - $65 each (the link is to give an idea of the shorts types)

I have a pair of nice red shorts, i love them but they don't match much in my wardrobe!

OK, I voted for red shorts, but only if the log runs down the outer side with black underneath it. I always thought shorts would look cool this way but I only see black on the inside and color to the outside. OK, I really just like to be different...:) Make sure to add socks to this when you're, um, done collecting interest.

I haven't really chatted with the original AV ladies yet so I don't how much license I have but my thought was the 1/2 chainring on one leg either from the side seam out or arced up from the leg hem on one side (if that makes sense?....) and the purple AV logo with the rose on the other leg?????

CM, I was wearing my jersey around the house again last night:p and thought red shorts that had the side panels from the jersey continued down it, which includes that chain ring, would look awesome. Almost like a skin suit. No purple though. If you think red it hard to match up, I think purple is more difficult, at least with my color jerseys, but that's just my opinion.

Keep us posted, I think it sounds cool regardless of red or black. Thanks!
