Honda Airwave...interesting bike

I was looking at the Honda Japan website and came across this picture...

Have you ever seen such a bike?? It seems like such an odd bike to me, like a full suspension, road, commuter bike. I have never seen a bike like this before, but I would think Honda would use a somewhat normal bike in their add. So, is this a common type of bicycle in Japan??

That is an interesting bike. It looks kind of like a Honda Compo, but then it doesn't. It also looks like some type of folding bike. If it is folding, there is some irony in using a folding bike to advertise the abililty to put a "standing up" bicycle in the back :rolleyes:

It looks like a cross between my Bike Friday (folding) and Titus Racer X (mountain).
