Caught this hideous flu going around. Can't move off couch, am coughing up green stuff. Have Lemond on trainer next to me for company.

10" snow coming for wednesday.

Are we gonna make it till spring this year????

If I *have* to be sick, I'd rather be sick in crappy weather. Make a pot of tea, grab a good book and hunker down, knowing that at least you are not missing out on good riding :)

How sweet to find a cheery note!

Am slowly getting better. My day was brightened when UPS brought my new handlebars, I am trying Salsa Poco bars for new bike.

Thanks again!

Oooh, new bike parts have a way of cheering one up, don't they?

So Chains, to help get your mind off your aches & pains and look forward to the lovely springtime, do you have any favorite places you like to ride in or around Boston ?

I went to school out there (Big & Ugly for undergrad, Brandeis for grad school) and if memory serves there were some very nice areas, especially out in the 'burbs, I'll bet the cycling is mighty fine. And do you brave downtown Boston or Cambridge ?

Anyhow, take care of yourself !

I'm still getting over it and it's been 4 weeks!

Just rest, don't over do and like many have said by spring when the riding is great you'll be back in the saddle.:)

I'm holding onto that thought too. Who said misery doesn't love company? LOL

Yes lots of great cycling in areas outside of boston. I do the river bikepath but its usually loaded with kiddies and skateboards.

Have biked some intown, but its just stop/go, not that much fun.
