Hi Gals,

Just found and joined this community... SO much information! Thanks! I'm about to embark on a new hobby/passtime/fitness routine, etc... and buy my first "real" bike (the others don't count!) I think I want a Trek Pilot but can't find one locally to test ride... anyone have tips out there of good places to look? I'm in Walnut Creek but can certainly look in the wider area.

Thanks!
Kay

Kay,

I know it's not exactly in your neighborhood, but Chain Reaction is one of the biggest Trek dealers in Northern California. They have two stores -- one in Redwood City and one in Los Altos.

I've bought two bikes from them and think that they have excellent customer service, and a great selection of Treks. When I bought my road bike from them, they took a lot of time on bike fit and setup.

They probably have the bike in your size.
Los Altos: 408-735-8735
Redwood City: 650-366-7130

They also have a very informative web site: http://www.chainreaction.com.

Good luck!

-- Melissa

PS Standard disclaimer applies: my only affiliation with Chain Reaction is that I'm a satisfied customer.
