Hi,
I'm glad I went out for coffee today and chose the Fremont Coffee Roasters. While reading the paper I found that an initiative that protects one of our favorite places is on the ballot.
Hope we all get out and vote, it's one of my favorite places to get outside and ride.

Trek 420- Just found this!
A couple of friends and I cycled that whole area yesterday (I was total transit from Benicia to Fremont BART where we started out). One of my friends who cycles that area frequently introduced us to the trails and the paths. We loved it (of course)!
Perhaps it belongs in another part of the forum. Not sure about that. BUT I'll make sure to tell people I know here at work to vote for the initiative.

Well, we don't have an "advocacy" section. I've e-mailed everyone they told me to e-mail and will try to get the word out. I love that area, it would be a shame to have it be a mall
Everyone in the area vote early....and often

No, I just think that's the area they want to build.
Another site they've eyed I think is near the Neumi (sp?) Toyota Factory which is not so bad other than the traffic would be bad.

Um, no. The area being considered for the new A's stadium is off I-880 near Auto Mall Parkway which is nowhere remotely near the Coyote Hills park or the Alameda Creek Trail.

never mind TE, I feel better now. There's a vacant, 143-acre site near Auto Mall Parkway?? But OK. Cheese and rice the traffic would be bad there.
