Secret Sister quetions

I joined the August Secret sister Swap :D and have a few questions, since this is my first time.

I was given two names. Is that an error or I am to send to two people?

The swap is coffee and a mug of some sort, correct?

Are these to be mailed out at the end of August?

Do we reveal ourselves in a note in the package or maintain our anonymity?

I was learning about the SS I recieved on Sunday, then I received a second name on Tuesday. Not knowing if this was an error or not, I have yet to begin shopping and would very much like to begin soon.

If anyone can answer these questions it would greatly be appreciated.

Jennifer, as far as I know, you're only supposed to get one Secret Sister...
Maybe you should pm mountainpuddles, and let her know of the mistake...:rolleyes:
You can mail them out at any point in August... I think the idea is that the SS get the gift in August. It is up to you if you want to reveal your name... I have both times... and it is coffee and a mug.

I signed up for July SS and sent out my postcard and socks by the 2nd week and not received word that they've recvd them. also, I haven't recvd anything either. I keep hoping they're running late. But I'm skipping august SS and will do another in sept or oct. Just curious. Not blaming anyone. What are the usual guidelines for shipping? If someone pulls out, can someone be notified??

I would PM that person to see if she got them. I still have not received anything from my SS... I know how busy we can all get...mine was late going out - the last week, but it went across country, and my SS has let me know she received them...
Yeah, I'm going to do August because I've already signed up, but probably won't do another for a while.

I sent a PM to my July secret sister because I didn't know whether or not she received her socks & treats. Perhaps she is on vacation, or doesn't know who I am....

I sent her package out on 7/24... Hopefully, she will let me know one way or the other...

I wanted to do August Secret Sister, but I believe I was late in saying that I wanted to participate :( ...

I look forward to September SS though :D

I'm going shopping this weekend and have a question about the mug...since we all live in various areas, should the mug somehow reflect where we live?

No, I just had one name, I received the name on Tues the 1st.
You should only have one name.
I spoiled my SS, that is why she is going to receive TWO packages :) :)!!!

I do not know if I should shop for both and send out packages to both. I guess I will need to soon, if I do not hear back from mountianpuddles.

I am fairly certain it was just a simple mistake. My guess is she is not in town or near her computer. I tend to forget not everyone is on their computer as often as I am. :o

I do think we should all post when we receive our SS gifts. I know my SS should've received her July gift by now, but she hasn't posted. Hmmmm...

Be patient if you gift is late. I didn't get my June gift until after I received my July gift. But- I was patient and richly rewarded :) People get busy and travel and sidetracked. You never know.
