I searched forum to find an answer but didn't find what I needed, so I decided to raise this painful problem again.
After long ride a week and a half ago I got an ingrown hair that I immediately treated with Tend Skin solution, but that didn't help, and it turned into a cyst. It's about a size of green pea and it's right next to biking line crease. Today after I rode 12 miles in the morning it became worse so I applied some cortisone cream and it seems to be getting better. My question is?- I want to ride this weekend so I went and bought these foam thingies from Dr scholls, as well as some neosporine cream. I researched it online and it says that you can treat it with Bacitracin or mycitracin cream. Did anyone try that? What else can I do to make the healing process faster. I try to keep it dry when I go to sleep but it really is impossible during the day. Ouch it hurts too :(

I get these periodically and have developed a whole routine that seems to work. Every morning and night I swipe that area with a pad and some antiseptic solution. Then I put antibiotic ointment on it. When I have one that's gone as far as yours, I put a bandaid over it for a couple of days to give it some rest from constant rubbing that happens when you walk. That helps a lot.

That's exactly what I am doing, I put a bandaid with some neosporin on it, but it's in such uncomfortable spot that no matter what you wear it still gets irritated

I've never had this problem (knock on wood) but would heat packing the area help  ? Would the moist heat help bring it to a head and in turn relieve some of the pressure/pain? Just a suggestion.
