I'm kind of excited, on Monday, if she remembers, Catherine is going to do a heart rate threshold session in the spin class. I think that will be very cool.

I had my body fat tested, 20% at pre period bloat stage. Last time I had it checked was about 13 years ago, when it was 18. I can't complain about that I guess. I also had a nice lunch with my pal who is a Cat 2 racer for Terry, and she's 18%. She is struggling with her various trainer's different opinions on where she needs to be.

spin class in a bit, night skiing tonight if I last that long... woke up with horrible cramps at 5 am....

Riding always makes my cramps feel better. It's also a great tension release - and I do get a tad tense around that time of month!

I wish our club (Ballys) had decent spin classes. The last good teacher left because she was disgusted with the management - they couldn't get her paycheck to her on time. This current teacher is the world's worst. She plays music and tells you when to increase the tension on the bike, or stand, or whatever, all in slow motion. Absolutely no enthusiasm, always looks like she just woke up & would rather be anywhere else.

How'd it go, Irulan? I don't even want to know what my heart rate and fat are right now. I had a non-bike-related accident a few months ago and have barely ridden since. It's been awful. I'm very much looking forward to riding again soon. :D

Unenthusiastic teachers are just the worst, aren't they? Every time I get a dud like Dogmama's teacher I am extra extra thankful for all the good teachers I've had.

see HR thread. As for fitness I''m not too worried. I've been alpine skiing, ,today was my third day in a row, back for more tomorrow. We are just getting "puked on" for snow. Not sore at all just need to stretch a bit at night....
