I had that great "no more guilt feeling" yesterday when I dropped mine off at the post office. It's going out of the country, so my Secret Sister will probably have to wait another week yet....but at least I know it's on it's way.

Me too, finally got mine sent out today. I was especially feeling guilty since I got my socks on the 3rd! Sure hope my SS likes the ones I picked for her.

My July SS PM'd me yesterday. Which was so funny becos the day b4 she posted on the Kiwi Under Fire thread and I thought "Oooh , she's got it and she wants to stay secret but like most of us she can't stay 100% secret. Little clues squeeze their way out"

My SS must also wait patiently!!! I have the socks, but for the life of me, I can't find a postcard that is local to my area! In FL, they had them at every damn pharmacy...but here in NC, I have to be more clever. I'm heading to one of the local attractions this weekend, so I hope to mail out on Monday!

GLC, you should have stayed here!! Ok, mine's boxed up, now have to get it in the mail tomorrow. Sis- it'll be there by next week! I'm a procrastinator, but I'm sure my two other sisters will tell you (I hope!!) the wait is worth it! I don't know, maybe the last one never figured me out. It's not really hard- there were tons of clues...

SS I received my package today!@!!! (Even if i wasn't the frist one to open it though...it had been opened first though by Dept of Quarantine/customs & included a nice pamphlet informing me of what can & can't be sent to australia & another letting me know that nothing had been removed:) )

I have more yummy energy bars & a funky water bottle. NOw all i need to do is find a bizarre place to put the bell...:eek:

I would like to thank my SS for my wonderful socks - two awesome pairs!! I especially like the "Oh, sh*#!" socks (definitely not offensive to me) - I will wear those when I ride the hills my husband loves and I still struggle with. Thank you SS!

Hi Denise-

You are correct! I lived there up until about 12 years ago. I had an adorable little second floor apartment where the retired couple on the first floor owned the house. It was a steal and I totally loved that little place! I really miss being so near Boston, but my husband would flip out in that weather...he's a southerner, through and through! ;)

Glad you liked the socks...they are a really fun shop and I figured that it would be something you'd never see anywhere else! :)
