OMG... I HOPE she bailed on this ride... it was 108 degrees in Escondido yesterday!!! :eek: AND humid, which resulted in a brief thunder, lighting and rain show at 5:30AM today... AAAAACK! No way you could got me out there in that kinda weather... freakin miserable... :eek:

OH! and Cali... I ran into RonSmithJr today... kinda hard to miss a yellow recumbent with a rider who's 6'7"! LOL

Nope, she did it... ya got to remember, 108 is normal for her :rolleyes: I'd think it might be a tad cooler amongst the trees too... hopefully she'll be able to do a ride report, I love to see all the pictures!

yes... i did it... it was gorgeous (and not hot at all til the very end! and even that wasn't, as tracy said... out of the norm for me!!) i loved all but the climb back up mesa grande... i'll do a ride report later... i have tons of pics! lol!

i meant to do the report yesterday... but we got sidetracked after the movie... browsing at the mall (i didn't buy ANYTHING... that's right... me... caligurl... SHOPAHOLIC didn't buy ANYTHING at the mall! :eek: )

i'm off to an eye appt and will post pics and a report later!!!!!

he is just all over the place! we ran into him at... of all places.... 3 harbours! we were on our way down old PCH from santa barbara... headed back to ventura.. and there he was... headed in the opposite direction! he spun around and we chatted a bit... he was about 132 miles into his attempt of his first triple century.... i need to PM him over at bikeforums.net to see if he was able to finish it!

ok.... i'm REALLY leaving now.. .or i'll be late for my appt!:rolleyes:
