I'm so needy . . .

My next door neighbors have the most adorable little girl. She's turning 3. She's very proud that she rides a bike "like Bill and Sarah." Of course, her's is pink and has 3 wheels.

We want to find her a very inexpensive jersey or t-shirt that will make her feel like a "real cyclist." Any ideas? I love the Curious George jerseys but $40-$50 is just a bit expensive for a 3 year old.

Pink would make a frabjous day.

It's a really big day, three posts! Anyhoo, REI has some kids jerseys on sale, nothing pink, though. http://www.rei.com/category/4500816.htm?vcat=REI_SSHP_CYCLING_TOC.
How about a kids T-shirt with a bike on it? They might be easier to find and would definitely be cheaper.

I've looked at "Life if Good" t-shirts but they only have one child's chirt with a bike on it it. It's a mtbiker, green and definitely aimed at boys, plus it's out of stock.

I've a mind to email them about their sexist attitude.

Sadie:

Would it be possible to have an old jersey of yours or Bubba's cut down to a
kid size??? She may appreciate the fact that it was once yours and is now hers??

Other than the ridiculously expensive kid's USPS and Discovery yellow jerseys that were sold the last couple of years, I haven't seen anything small enough to fit a 3 year old girl. I've noticed cycling is influencing fashion lately (all those shoes that look like bike shoes), so maybe you can find her an "exercise" top with a front zip. They may have something like this at Target or a *sporting goods* store.

I may have something Em's outgrown. It wouldn't be pink, though.
