My favorite TDF quote thus far

Phil, Paul and the others say things the crack me up. This is my favorite so far-

Phil talking about Liquigas rider Magnus Backstedt, who is 6'3" and 205 lbs. Magnus was in a breakaway and it was going down a slight incline and he flew by the other, smaller riders in the breakway.

"Unfortunately for Maggie, what goes down must go up."


Since I am nearly 6 feet tall, have about 30 more lbs to lose and encounter hills on a regular basis, I completely understand. :o

I have to say... I named my Pug after Magnus Backstedt... LOL... I heard the name Magnus and just thought it would be a great name for a Pug... :D fortunately I'm sure "Maggie" will never find out some crazy woman named her dog after him...:rolleyes: :D
