I've fallen in love with these MTB shoes (http://www.sierratradingpost.com/p/4289,78301_Northwave-Paola-MTB-Cycling-Shoes-For-Women.html).

The blue/silver color would be just perfect with my new-to-me Titus Racer-X. Anyone have this brand and know how the sizing runs? Seems odd that the 37.5 is 6-1/2 US but the 38 jumps all the way to 7-1/2 US. What about size 7??

I normally wear a size 7 in most US shoes, sometimes a 6.5 in sandals, definitely a 7.5 in running shoes where my toes need room to roam. My current cycling shoes are size 39 (Lake - fit perfectly), size 39 (Sidi - on the tight size, more like a 6.5), and size 38 (Cannondale - fit perfectly), so I am guessing the 38s in these shoes would be fine, but just wanted to see if anyone had them. Why oh why are manufacturers so inconsistent on these European sizes? I also checked two boxes of atheletic shoes I have, and both said they were 7 US / 38 Euro, so seems like 38 is normally right for me, but then the Lakes and Sidis (both road shoes) are a bit off!

I only have the one pair of MTB shoes, the Cannondales, and they are heavy clunkers with that oh-so-feminine hiking-boot look, so I am looking for something a little lighter and sleeker, both to decrease rotating weight and for looks, of course! :o

Thanks for any help....
