There's a short bridge that's being reconstructed on a country road near me. Right now it's just covered in gravel and it's bumpy. Cars have to slow for it or they'll bounce.

Yesterday, I was riding down the hill to the bridge when a small pick-up came up behind me. He slowed way down until I was almost to the bridge. I had to slow to keep from skidding on the gravel. Just as I was getting onto the edge of the bridge, he finally decided to pass me. But when he got on the bridge, he gunned it and slung gravel and dust all over me!

errgh! He was gone so fast I didn't get his plates, and I wasn't hit hard in the face or anything, so I just kept going. I could see he was a gray headed old man, though. He was out of sight, but I could hear him squealing tires up a hill at the next turn. What was he thinking?

I just had to vent. It's just not right.

Maybe his Viagra made him temporarily insane? What a jerk. It's good that you are OK, though.
