`JUst want to wish all the Canuck chickies a happy Canada day. Enjoy the fireworks, have a bbq, eat some cake for me & wave the flag !

And to top it off..here's a joke for you....

A 'True' Canadian Joke

Its Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final and a man makes his way to his
seat right at center ice. He sits down noticing the seat next to him is
empty.

He leans over and asks his neighbour if someone will be sitting there.

"No" says the neighbour. "The seat is empty""this is incredible" said
the man. "Who in his right mind would have a seat like this for the final
game of the Stanley Cup playoffs and not use it.

The neighbour says "Well, actually, the seat belongs to me. I was
supposed to come with my wife, but she passed away. This is the first
Stanley Cup we haven't been together since we got married in 1967."

"Oh....I'm so sorry to hear that. That's terrible, but couldn't you
get someone else, a friend or relative, or even a neighbour to take the
seat."

The man shakes his head, "No. They're all at the funeral."

I didn't write it...my uncle sent it to me...blame him...!!!!

Happy Canada day to you too! Love that joke - it's one of my favourites.

PS Watch out for my Canucks next season - we got rid of Bertuzzi and picked up Luongo!! :D

HEy barb,

Have fun in Oiltown (edmonton)-do go for a walk in the river valley for me or take some photos....

If you want to rent a bike try either whyte ave or down at hawrelak park. It's been a while since i've been home but there must be places to rent bikes...Just remember Bellamy hill, the area around the UofA & the shaw conference centre are all hilly...

There's always rabbit hill for mtn biking.

If you don't want to ride up the hills some of the busses hold bikes on the front...

Have fun!

ps-I'm not sure if the High level diner is still open but it's worth a visit for a coffee...
