I recently completed the RAAM 24-hr challenge from Oceanside, California to Flagstaff, Arizona. Much climbing, but so much fun! While cycling along the highway, however, I came to the realization that the sport can be quite noisy-- wind, motor vehicles, etc.

As a part of my doctoral research, I am conducting a brief survey regarding bicycling and hearing. Please take a few minutes to complete this survey:

Your participation is greatly appreciated. Also, please forward this to your other cycling friends and acquaintances! I am interested in responses from both women and men.

Thanks,
Aaron

Thank you, ladies. Please tell your friends. The more responses I get the better. Right now about 90% of my responses are from men. I know there are more women cyclists out there!

Very sneaky of you, SK!;)

Thanks for the link. I'm not sure how helpful my information is to the researcher as i'm already deaf in my left ear...I mentioned that's one reason I mtn bike as i can't hear well in the first place..
