My mother, who is not a cyclist, sent this to me. Not sure if this is real or Photoshop! Anyone know of anything like this in Euro land?

I don't know if that exists, but, not wanting to be pessimistic... I doubt it.
But now it's on my desktop!!

If only that were really the case. How nice would riding on the roads be??? Oh, but to dream....:p
Thanks for sharing!
Love it! It does remind me of that road by you, where cars can only use one side, and the whole other side you guys, the whole other side of the road is for runners and cyclists!!!
PS, Yellow, what does "most often TSO" mean? Thanks for clearing up "sandbagger". I thought it meant someone who was holding everybody back, and I couldn't believe so many people were saying that about Trekhawk! L.

Is anyone familiar with Snopes.com? They investigate urban legends, etc. I'll bet they could find out.
(I am going in a zillion directions right now, and I don't know how to deal with images at all.):o

Oh I love it. Does that mean I can shake my fist and hurl abuse at those big thumping car drivers and tell them hey get in your f%*&$$# car lane (at least in this photo one does exist unlike the non-existent bike lane they keep rudely telling me to ride in).:D
Alas, I´ve never seen one anywhere in Europe. Wouldn´t it be nice though?
They did shut down one of the main roads once a year when I lived on Lake Constance. There would be a Sunday in the summer when the road was open to rollerbladers and cyclists only.
Oh, my husband is just telling me about "car free Sundays" during the oil crisis in the seventies.
Great idea

I love that picture. It reminds me of the new Kaiser Permanente ads where the freeways are all filled with people on their bikes. Just about the best thing Kaiser has ever done.

I am suspecting this is photoshop or some such culprit...
But oh the bliss if it were true... most excellent!
Thank you for posting, I'll see if the club mag wants to use it in the next run...
