Oh, my word.

Just got back from seeing "Verakai" down near the Velodrome. It was astounding. Beautiful. Stunning. They did this amazing thing with two huge bicycle wheels and a person halfway through the axle at right angles to the axle. It was elegant.

I'm ready to run away and join the circus.

Oh, PS:

There is a fundraiser Sunday at 9:30 pm. $5 all seats. It will be a spoof of Verakai put on by the stage hands and back stage folks (and probably some of the regular performers, too). It is to raise funds for the medical bills for one of the performers (Elena Kirianova, I think) who suffered a severe head injury in a skiing accident during a day off, and is in a rehab facility here in Seattle.

That would be fun. I hope they raise a lot of money. Their show is something I'm always "meaning" to see, but never have.

We've seen Cirque du Soleil a number of times! It is absolutely amazing to think that human bodies can move and bend that way - and so gracefully, too!

My dh and I just recently saw "O" in Las Vegas - which was very cool! Also - if you're ever in San Diego, they have a troupe that performs at Sea World, which my kids just loved.
