HELP! Pearl Izumi Sugar Short

Hi ladies,
I finally have the perfect short/seat combination, but today I went to buy a new pair of Pearl izumi sugar shorts and they've changed the chamois.

The shorts I love have a purple chamois that isn't very bulky. They now have this blue and white chamois that is much more bulky (I do not like the PI microsensor shorts because of the large chamois, this new one on the sugar is a bit similar, not as padded though).

So long story short, has anyone seen some sugar shorts with the purple chamois?

I can't help you here, I am in love with the big blue diaper on the new 2006 Sugar shorts. Look around on eBay for the 2005 shorts.

Apparently PI changed the chamois in most of their shorts this year - women's and men's too. Funny, but the guys I work with (who also ride) hate the new PI chamois in the men's shorts too. I used to wear PI ultrasensors, but the chamois change made the shorts very uncomfortable for me, and I switched to Sugoi shorts. I'm very happy with the chamois in my new RS Flex Shorts.

Good luck finding last year's PIs. If you can't find them, hopefully you can find a reasonable replacement.

Oh that makes me soo sad to hear...I have a pair of the PI with purple chamois and I love them (my favorite pair) and was looking to buy another pair. Companies are always thinking new and improved but...I LIKE THE OLD ONES!

Experience has taught me to buy in multiples when I like something, just didn't get around in time for these shorts. I will keep searcing high and low.

I did also try e-bay, I'm waiting on a pm to see if they are purple chamois or not!
