Enell, size 2

Thought I'd give this one its own thread. Last year I ordered the Enell size 1, which really is the size I should wear, according to the chart. It got here weeks after the marathon (ordered 6 weeks prior...:rolleyes: ), so I didn't get to wear it for that. I've worn it for running a couple of times, but the rib band was so tight that I felt I couldn't breathe. Sure restrained the boobage, though!

Finally, after hating every other sports bra I have (not enough support + uniboob effect), it occurred to me to just go up one size!

Viola.

I ordered two, a black and a white, from the Title 9 catalog. They got here reasonably quickly. Wore the white one today on a 12 mile bike ride. Very comfortable. No deep red mark over my xyphoid as with the size 1. No need for body glide under the snaps. YEA!

Expensive, but worth it. They're all expensive at this size, none are pretty, so make it WORK and I'll be happy.

Knotted, I am curious about the CR-X that you love (I think that's the name?), anyway, what size normal bra do you wear? Bouncing is a big problem for me. I'm a 36D. I'm always looking for something supportive but not squashing.

I decided to give the CW-X a try as well. It is terrific, supportive all around with good coverage. But seeing your size, I don't think it would work for you. It is available in S-M-L, and their size chart indicates B or C cups only. You can check out further details on the Terry site. I am very comfortable in a size medium, but I am a 34C. I know a 36D who tried it and complained about too much bounce.

I asked Knotted the same thing, and she said she wore it as a 36D/38C and still loved it. I think I'm going to give it a try and see, though I am concerned about bounce as well. Worst case I can wear it for lower impact exercising.

Haven't tried the Enell, but it's tempting. From reviews I read here earlier, it sounds like the SuperBra.

I'm a 36D too. The CRX bra has reasonable coverage, but I don't like the support for anything other than sitting around in it. Definitely can't run in it. It's very comfortable though.

Lise, glad you like your Enell. I wear the 2 also, and love running in it (well I love the bra. Not sure I'll every *truly* love the actual running part...I don't really run, so much as trot. :o ) Truly a bounce-free bra.

Susan & Lise -- CW-X just came out with a new version of their product for D-cup sizes! If it is as good as their standard B-C one, it would bear looking into.

They also have a new ventilator style with a mesh panel in front, and an all-mesh style as well, which sound very promising now that the hot, sticky days of summer are here. I plan on trying these two out. CW-X has moved to the top of my sports bra list.

Nothing makes me gladder to be on the A/B cup end of the market than reading threads like this. :rolleyes: Must suck for you lot. :o
