Let me preface this by saying I haven't ridden in a year, was riding a mountain bike with a Bontrager gel (very cushy) gel seat prior to buying my new road bike. Found this saddle on ebay, seller had buy it now for $77, I chose the bid option and got it for $57 if I remember correctly. It's a gel saddle that isn't squishy, enough gel to be comfortable but doesn't give you a bouncy ride. It's also pretty lightweight for a gel.
The first two times I used it I had pain in my sitbones (gone now after a few rides) and never any pain in the soft tissue area. I'm convinced the rear pain I experienced was just due to my lengthy time off a bike. The saddle design is very stylish, looks great on my new bike. Sloped the front of it down just a tad for comfort. Overall, I really like it and would recommend it.
