SK is SO going to regret explaining the whole photo chumbucket thing to me.
Here I am at the "Tour of Marin" (a charity ride held in, you guessed it, Marin, last fall) with Dave Zabriskie:

Also present were the stunning Fred Rodriguez and Levi (will win the Tour darn it!) Leipheimer. This one's too big but I don't care because Fred's so purty!!:

Hey, yellow, look at DZ's helmet! Maybe there's something to this crooked helmet thing.

I had to compliment him on his website. (My favorite was the on-bike interview where he asked if the rider ever actually had Liquigas, and the guy responded he had to quit the Giro because of it...)
Anyway, he's super quiet and a bit geeky and just funny and sweet!!
Levi is also very nice and down to earth. We'd met his family in the Massif Central and Pyrynees, so I at least had something to talk about with him. With Fred, it was just - try to hold your line even though this person is so pretty you are having trouble staying on your bike....

I LOVE those interviews! A few months back, I revisited his website and noticed that he hadn't updated it in a long time, like six months or something like that. I figured what the heck, and emailed him to ask him to let everyone know what he'd been up to. I kid you not....two days later he updated it. Pretty kewl. I love his sense of humor. Quirky, different, and very funny!
Along with Mountainpuddles (Hiya, Becky! :D ), we saw him at the Amgen San Jose TT stage. It looked like he really just couldn't wait to get OUT of the limelight. Toooo cute.

Hey if it makes me slim & fast, then I guess I'd better quit checking to see if it's on straight (which I now do before EVERY ride).
