Yup, I RODE MY BIKE TODAY!!!!!!!!

Not very far because I am still having some balance issues and I had to take the cleats and cages off and ride a flat pedal...BUT I DID IT!!! I'm not ready for the Tour, but know that I am out there!!!!

Special thanks to my DH who has helped me through seizures, breaking a rib,
(from a seizure), and then unexpectectly losing my Dad. Today was such a beautiful day my hubby said to me, "I can't watch you continue to feel bad, you need to get outside and ride." SOOOOOO, I did!!! I know I didn't go very far but everyday I will go farther and farther until I can ride again. In a week or so I'll set a mileage goal for this year....

yahooooooooo,
karen

Ah, man, MBB. Now I am crying. I've been thinking about you so much lately and wondering what was up and now I know. Karen-side up and rubberside down. Just as it should be.

CONGRATULATIONS! Now I wish we had some'a those animated smileys here, like the one that hands out a rose. But you had the vision to get back on your bike, so I'm sure you have the imagination to:
[Imagine smiley handing you a rose here.]

you really are inspiration  Just by reading your post I could feel the thrill you had and I promised myself not to be so lazy and to use every opportunity to ride (even if it's too early, or the sun isn't smiling, or whatever excuse I use when I'm not in the mood)

thanx ;) I wish you all the best :)
