Please ladies I'd like your input on this.
I have this race where basically there is no private place to change, except my car where you can look in the windows anyway. What do you all do?
I'm not going to stay in my cycling shorts all day like I used to. It is mostly men at this place to.

Just move quickly. :p
Or, a more practical solution is to pull a skirt on over the shorts, then pull the shorts down under the skirt. You can also use a towel wrapped around you as a coverup skirt to accomplish this - that's an old swimteam trick.

Or hang a towel between your two open car doors.

I use the skirt (or sarong) method like Dianyla... and then go knickerless til I can get to a shower...
:p
Road not-so-modest Raven

Sometimes I open my car doors and just go fast, too.

I've even seen guys using this trick - with a utili-kilt or even with a special "racing skirt" - yeah the thing had a lable on it that said that, but a nice big towel is the cheapest method. In any case I don't think for the most part that anyone is specifically looking - even guys can be respectful of other persons modesty when they want to be.
Staying in your sweaty shorts is not only uncomfortable, but tempting undercarriage problems too, so its a good idea to change out after a race.

Kayakers in my area use a 'changing poncho'. It can be as simple as an old sheet folded in half and stitched most of the way up the sides (to leave arm holes) and hole cut in the top for your head to go thru. Or there are more elaborate patterns out there that can be made of fleece (for colder weather) with a hood.

pareo or wrap skirt
pullover dress
pop-up changing room/solar shower (yes, Jo, I did figure out how to close mine. It didn't help that you were standing there with the camera.)

Thanks ladies, I honestly would never have thought about using a skirt like that. I have the perfect skirt too. The thing is so long I can actually wear it as a dress. It goes clear up above the boobs and is still mid calf. Boy the guys on the team are gona scratch their heads on this one.
