I have been riding more seriously for the past two months. Got a new bike -- a Fuji Provence a couple months ago. Rode 480 miles in April. I am riding on a Terry Liberator which helped from my old Fuji Sagres seat but I am still having crotch pain. It's like my bones in the center of my crotch are rubbing and pressing. I was wondering if the seat's nose is too wide? Should I try to angle it differently? Any advice?

I had to drop the nose of my saddle just slightly, and scoot it forward just slightly. That seemed to get my weight more onto the big sit-bones (ishial tuberosities) and off everything else.
I have very wide hips, and so have never felt that a saddle nose was too wide. I bet someone here will have advice for that.
The best saddle i ever had for my goofy butt was a Terry Sport, about 10 years ago. They don't make that one anymore. If I decide my Serfas isn't cutting it for me once i start riding more, I will certainly call Terry and ask them what is the current equivalent.

I would try a different saddle - the Provence has dropped bars, right? And the Sagres has upgright flat bars. Your riding position is different, makes sense you need a different saddle. If you like Terry, maybe try a Terry Butterfly or Selle Italia lady Gelflow saddle (SI makes Terry's saddles). I like the Specialized ones too.
Good luck.
