I see lots of stories recently of people changing their first flats successfully :) Bravo!
Here's a tip that may help you... when I changed my first flat I mentioned to a friend that the new tube was hard to get inside the tire, because the rubber is sorta "sticky"...
he said to put my tubes in a ziploc with a bit of baby powder... I do that now and it's MUCH easier to get that new tube inside the tire... slips right into place! And I smell fresh as a babies butt the rest of my ride :D
