... I would have laughed at anyone telling me i can do 100 k on a bike. I would have laughed at anyone telling me I could run for an hour, or do that after a spin class.
I like my "new life" because I can surpass myself over and over....
That's great, alpinerabbit!
Keep going!
You said it, alpine rabbit! My experience is similarly sweet. If you're willing to work for it, you can have it. :D

Congrats, alpinerabbit! It feels good, doesn't it :) Hopefully I will soon be where you are now; my best is 110km (over 2 days!) @ 25km/h average speed.
Cheers!

as said elsewhere: if you can do 60 at 25 kph, you can do 100.

Sounds like it's been one amazing year for both of us! And I have to say that I think everyone on this board has had a hand in it! The positive energy around here is wonderful!
Good job!

You've come a long way baby! (ain't it funny just how fitting that line is and yet - it was for a cigarette ad?! LOL)

oooh, "Imperial century"! I love how that sounds. The riders should be crowned at the end, eh? That's my riding goal for this year. (The 100 miles, not so much the crowning. Not that I'd object to a tasteful little tiara...:p )
