Hey SoCal'ers... Tour de France IMAX movie!

The Reuben H Fleet Space Theater in Balboa Park is now showing "Wired to Win"... which follows Baden Cooke and a teammate thru a Tour de France analyzing what it takes physically and mentally to compete at this level... I am going tomorrow night with some cycling friends... and I've heard from others that this is very well done! I guess some of it gets a little medically technical with the brain waves etc... (cool by me, I find it facinating!) but there are scenes on following them downhill outta the Alps that are ridiculous! WOOT!

I really want to see this movie. I wish it was playing in the Sacramento area. It's playing in San Jose, about 2 1/2 hours away. I may have to plan a day trip.

Indy... I went to see this on Friday night with some friends... it was pretty neat! I enjoyed not just the Tour parts, but also the parts about how the brain learns and overcomes based on prior experiences... I was actually able to relate to alot of what was said as it pertains to riding...

overall, just very well done... it follows the 2003 Tour... :) hope you get to see it!

I thought I heard it was originally going to feature Tyler Hamilton, but they had to change riders after his fall from grace. I hope it makes it up to NorCal!
