So, I posted on my cycle club forum, if I could find a bolero locally. Instead of a constructive response from this guy, I get obnoxious questions. At first I didn't think he was being snide, then it just got infuriating. Dude! I just wanted to know where to get it, not your policing of my cycling wardrobe!!

Duh! It looked like at first he actually was intrigued but then he realized it was a "girl thing". Doofus! You should go find him on a ride and drop him. Wearing the bolero. :D

There's always gotta be one jerk, doesn't there? Or should I say at least one jerk.

That's why I like this cycling forum too! All women and we do not have to fear anything we present in this forum. We are protected by the sisterhood!
I may just wear my bolero to work today.

so did you find one after all that hassle? Sounds like Doug was the saviour of the day there offering to check on one for you! Bless that man for his sensitivity!

Well, there were none I could find in the city so I mail ordered from REI before I saw that note. I thanked him though.

Am I the only one who hears the theme from the mover "10: in the background whenever the board talk turns to Bolero? (I think it's Bizet's piece by that name which was the movie theme)

Ugh! I'd be curious to see Evan's style and wardrobe... I'm guessing ratty jeans and sloppy t-shirts... and what does he care anyway? It's not like you asked HIM to wear one...

I'm thinking a whack upside the head may do him some good...

I don't just hear the music, I see Torvill (sp?) & Dean in my head too. :o

Oooh - Ravel's Bolero! An amazing piece of work! One of my favorites.

Doh! You're right, my job has eaten my brain, I had the right movie wrong composer :o And would that I could bike (and fall off) as gracefully as Torvill (sp?) and Dean....wearing my Bolero.

OT OT, don't make me laugh. I did a couple of classes at the dojo I train at this week and my abs are so sore it hurts to laugh (guess it's more of a core workout than I thought). So don't make me laugh, ow, too late.

What a dork. He meant to make you mad and is pleased that he did. It's not you. It's him.

Evan. Get a life.

Pitiful. :(

PS: I wonder if he'd be thrilled or horrified to know we're "watching" this little saga of The Bolero and The Rude Guy?

I can see it now in the pre-schoolers books subtitled: how Not to behave on a forum! ;)
