Saturday, April 8, 9:00-11:30am: Skills Clinic (ride legally and safely on city streets)
- Meet at Club Sport in Walnut Creek
Topics include:
- Bicyclist and Driver Rights and Responsibilities
- Lane Positioning and Safe Lane Changes
- Signaling and Turning
- Avoiding Hazards
- Anticipating Vehicle Conflicts
- Making Yourself Visible and Predictable
- Safety Gear and Accessories
Saturday, April 15th, 8-10am: Bike Maintenance (ALMOST FULL)
- Meet at California Pedaler in Danville
Topics include:
- How to adjust brakes & gears/derailleur
- What parts need lubing and how often
- What parts need tightening and how often
- Replacing/fixing a chain in an emergency
- Replacing/fixing a spoke in an emergency

may/June - possibly another bike maintenance clinic
June - beginner technical cycling skills (see website)
