Okay, I'm willing to bet that you all know this already but I just figured out that you can get an elevation map for the routes you plot out. I thought I'd mention it since it took me so long to figure it out! The good thing though is that that the hill (the major one among many) I did last friday was 2.95 miles at about 5.5% - that is really good for me and quite motivating! :D

Sorry if this is a repeat!

Oh good, I'm not the only one who didn't immediately notice! Did you find where to click jobob? I've been making really short routes up every hill to figure out the grades... its kinda fun!

Do you guys have it freeze up on you much, or say it is running a script that will cause Mozilla to run slowly, or cause your computer to freeze?

I find it runs slowly sometimes, and parts of the map load slowly. I don't know if it's a problem with my computer (or browser) or if it originates on their end. I think this is a "home-grown" application and it has glitches from time to time. Still, it's pretty neat for what it is.

T, I found where to click only after you mentioned it - I probably never would have noticed it otherwise !

I've had it slow down and/or freeze up, but it only freezes up the browser, not the whole computer. I've had this happen in both Mozilla & Netscape, and much more frequently when I use the 'hybrid' mode. I use this when I ride on our paved bike trails as they don't show up on the plain map mode--the satellite shows the creeks they follow.

I've tried it in Firefox and IE, at different workstations at work, and at home on two different PC's. I'm only having problems with one route:

And weirdly enough, just at a certain zoom. It lets me change the zoom a couple times before giving me the message.
