Josie,
How did you like your Terry Symmetry? I just got the 2004 version and am waiting for a new back wheel that was damaged in transit. TIA for your review.

Hey, mtbdarby, can I pick your brain a bit about the Symmetry? I'm considering replacing my Giant OCR3, and I think it's one of several bikes I want to test ride, so I'd love to hear your thoughts. I've GOT to find something lighter. Losing five pounds off my hind end would be cheaper, but not nearly as much fun. :D Plus, the bike is a medium-size frame, and I'm beginning to think it's a bit big for me (I'm only 5'4").

KB, my thoughts exactly on the lighter bike:D My new wheel should be there when I get home and I plan on taking a ride tomorrow. I know just from sitting on it it's shorter from seat to stem than the Specialized Dolce and the stem is longer so it can be raised more without having to switch stems. I'll post again after I ride her. Oh, I got a great deal on it brand new on ebay - retails for $1200 got it for $590 including shipping. The seller is livetoplay. They have a 48cm bike out there is well. I took my measurements and called Terry direct to make sure I was bidding on the right frame and they were very helpful. It came with a terry butterfly saddle and pedals that are spd on one side and platform on the other.

I'm excited for you! Can't wait to hear how she rides. I may have to do some shopping this weekend.
