So it's Hobby Night at school. Today was Em's first day back after stomach flu, and now she is preparing for Hobby Night - her hobby: cycling!

She's bringing her little Ibex road bike, several of her cool jerseys (Alpe d'Huez, Mt. Ventoux, Kelme, USPS), tools, cycling magazines and books, helmet, her Cinderella patch from doing the ride a couple years ago (on the tandem), her green PMU hand from the Tour de France and some other Tour caravanne schwag and banners.

I think she's headed in the right direction in life! :D But I am biased. :o

That is so cool! She'll be much admired. How old is she? Glad to hear she's feeling better. Lise

Yeah. it ranges from myriad collections of stuffed animals to shells to yougioh cards to rocket launchers. and now bikes. there's always at least 1 guinea pig or rabbit. this time there was a pug and collection of pug paraphenalia. Each kid gets a certificate of participation and they do a program. it's only and hour, but anyone who wants to gets a taable, K through 5.

It is so cool that this "hobby" (really, we all know it's a lifestyle ;) :D ) is something that your whole family does together!
