What heart rate monitor do you use?

I'm thinking of adding a heart rate monitor. There are so many out there, I don't know where to start. I just switched to Strava to record my rides and they sell them. Anyone have it? Likes, dislikes? I'm not a racer, just trying to lose weight and get better on the bike. Thanks!

I have not used a heart rate monitor in a long time. I had a Polar monitor and cycle computer, but never really used the information from the monitor for training, so when the battery died I didn't bother to replace it.

If I got one now I would look into one from Garmin, just because I have a Garmin on my bike already.
