So here's my dilemma, we just had a newborn baby and will need an umbrella stroller in about 4 months. Right now our toddler (2 and half years old) is at that stage where he hates his stroller yet sometimes just needs it like when we go to the mall or long stretches of walking. Since double strollers are not cheap (about $500 for a light one as I've seen on UpChoices (https://www.upchoices.com/best-double-strollers/)) I'm wondering if it's just a bad investment since our toddler will be 3 by then... Thoughts? The infant can just inherit my toddler's stroller, but am I being presumptuous about my toddler graduation from strollerdom by 3ish?

I really don't know much about stroller graduation. There are several companies where I've lived that sell used but still excellent tandem strollers. If this were me I'd look into that as an option.
