Check out liv - they have some nice carbon bikes under $2000.

I've had 5 road bikes. The 2 that fit me the best are Treks. I am 5 ft. .5 inches, and generally have petite proportions all around. Just about any 47 cm Trek I've tested has fit like a glove, with little modification. Specialize also has some good models, but I believe their sizing system is a bit different.

I can also add a vote for Trek's 47 cm WSD bikes. I did have to add a stem extension to my Pilot, as I have an old injury that prevents me from bending over as far as the typical cyclist, but other than that, this bike fits me great! I am a pinch taller than Crankin at 5'1.5".
