Is anyone else interested in doing this event? I just signed up for my first non-race road bike event called the San Clemente (CA) Challenge. It's a non competative event that has either a 41 or 82 mile loop with a 10.4% hill climb at the end. It's fully supported with stations every 20 miles. The loop goes through The USMC base at Camp Pendleton. It sounds like it will be a lot of fun. Hope to see you there:)
