I've been riding on the trainer all winter. One thing I have discovered is that riding on the trainer sure toughens up the old girlie bits. I have two pair of Terry shorts, both about a year old. I'm starting to notice lately, that things down below seem to be getting numb more often while on the trainer. So I'm wondering if a chamios can break down over time, or am I just spending to much time on the trainer. I have, earlier this winter, ridden close to 2 hours on the trainer with little discomfort. Now six weeks later, one hour and things are going numb.
I must say however, that said girlie bits HAVE toughen up. On the few rides I've managed outside I have had no seat discomfort. But 30 miles is about the most I've managed at one shot outdoors. So what do you think? Are the chamios going flat? Or is it just me. BikerHen
