12 year old nephew going on 3 week tour

My 12 year old nephew is going on a 3-week bike tour this summer, from Boston into Maine. He's been training, using a trainer through the winter and now outdoors a couple of times. I did a 15 mile ride with him last weekend. I'm doing work on his bike to get it ready - will be replacing tires, freewheel, chain, brake pads, cables. He's going to have a blast. So much fun helping him get ready.

Yes, it's an organized group of kids with adult leaders.

I am betting he is going with the same group my son went with when he was 14. It was based in western MA. Same trip.
That was it for my family. He came back, started racing, and the rest is history!

That is awesome! How far into Maine are they going? They will probably come through my town.
