View Full Version : Shorts AGAIN and AGAIN
Need shorts and the, cut off long riding pants. Can't remember what they are called, brain freeze. I ride a road bike, working toward 50 miles but aiming for 100. I read about witches britches and PI knickers ( thats what I was thinking about) What is PI for? What to get so my but won't hurt and I won't get saddle sores. Been there done that. It is going to be 70 today, tomorrow and Sunday. I am so out of here and on my bike. :p

Lots of good shorts out there. Lots of threads re shorts on this Board. I like Terry's selection (terrybicycles.com). Lots of styles and sizes. From very short to full length. Cahmois choices as well. PI (Pearl Isumi) makes beautiful shorts as does alot of other manufacturers. Just depends on how much you are willing to pay.
Good luck on your training.

Taking Denise Goldberg's advice, I got myself a pair of Boure knickers, with the pro chamois. They are VERY comfortable---not thick diaper style, but smooth thinner chamois. I like them very much and they seem to chafe less and bunch in the crotch less.

Hi, just my two cents...
Did you ever try the zoot 6 inch triathlon shorts? The chamois is smaller and still pads plenty for long rides.
