For years now, I have been very frustrated with the selection of plus sized jerseys; cycling catalogs arrive in the mail with regularity, sporting beautiful, colorful jerseys on the front, and without fail, those jerseys are never, ever, ever offered in plus size. I have to content myself with solid colors or some frousy floral print. Thank you TE for finally throwing the fat ladies a bone! My Doyenne "Gaia" (http://www.teamestrogen.com/collections/plus-size-womens-cycling-jerseys/products/do-9110p) jersey just arrived, and I am thrilled with it! So thrilled, I'm going to order the Mandala.
Off to show my pretty new jersey to the fit fatties forum...
That is so cool! Those are some stunning jerseys, jealous you're going to have two! :D

Dh is talking retirement in 5 years; need to stock up on these these things now! Besides, businesses that realize my money is as green as a skinny person's (you'd be surprised how many don't!) should be supported.

It is pretty insane that I wear a S/M in street clothes but need a large in bike jerseys. Sometimes for regular sleeveless shirts I have to go down to XS but for workout/cycling tank tops I'm more likely to need XL. This really is just blindness on the part of the manufacturers -- there are obviously plenty of active people out there who are not slim and trim.

That brings to mind the Barre studio I used to go to that sold tank tops emblazoned with the words: Such and such Barre studio made me this way . The largest size available was a medium. And it didn't fit the medium sized ladies in the class (who looked fabulous to me...)

NY, I think this speaks to the vanity sizing in certain clothing lines and the unrealistic sizing in cycling clothes!
