Online bike shopping is so much fun

I get to look at so many pretty bike pictures without spending any money (yet).

Does anyone know if the new CAAD 12 is available in a WSD? I'm a shorty so I can't fit on a men's bike. Googling CAAD12 and WSD/women hasn't gotten me anywhere yet though.

Have you tried writing to Cannondale to inquire if they intended to get a woman version?

I thought I'd start here -- the CAAD12 isn't on their website yet at all.

Just talked to a friend at my lbs about a ride and she's heard availability being in early fall maybe even some dealers in august and no wsd in the first model year. I'd think info should be on the cannondale site soon if august

You are right -- I actually did go ahead and email and got a quick response:

"Thanks for reaching out and for your interest in Cannondale. Although the CAAD12 will not be offered in a women's specific design for 2016, the 2016 women's CAAD10 full specifications should be available on our website in the coming days."

I'm not sure what this means for my new bike search - I assume prices on the 10 will drop once the CAAD12 WSD is out? (Of course, I also might be one of those suckers who springs for the new fancy shiny thing).

I really liked the CAAD10, so hopefully a hypothetical women's CAAD12 will have the same geometry. (And I hope it comes with a disc version!)
