Hello everyone! I haven't ridden a bike for many years. Three years ago I broke both of my wrists, have plates and screws in both so needless to say exercising is a difficult task. I would love to find a bike under 500 that I can ride around my neighbors and city that won't hurt my wrists to ride. I am guessing that I need to find a more upright sitting bike. Any suggestions are welcome. We only have three bike shops in town so I am afraid my choices may be limited. Btw my town/trails are paved and pretty flat.

I agree, good luck and post a photo!

An Electra Townie will allow you to sit back with you feet stretched forward, and no weight on your hands. Should be in your price range, too.

I agree and a hale and hearty welcome to TE. Post some pics of the new bike, we want to read the test ride reports.
