So what are you thankful for, as far as cycling goes?? Trivial or profound... lets share thoughts of the day.

I'm thankful to live in an area that is more or less cycle friendly and to live in a neighborhood that is close (relatively) to a major cycling trail. Plus lots of different directions to go in even off trail that are bicycle friendly and differing sights and destinations. Parks, town, grocery, bike shops, farmers market, waterfront, etc... very, very fortunate.

Also thankful for the TE forum and how much I've learned here over the last few years and all the inspiration that people have shared...you are quite wonderful you know... :)

Thanksgiving was just over a month ago for us Canadians, but still thankful to just be able to ride my bike indoor on trainer at this point with my injury. Limited, but still able some.

Also thankful for all the knowledge that is being shared here, and never feeling like you are asking a dumb question or feeling as if you were outside the "circle". :)

I'm thankful that I live in a place where I can basically bike anywhere. It's mostly flat, so I have no hills to contend with, and the bicycling culture is huge, so I'm not out of the norm by riding a bike. I get to bike 3 blocks to work and I'm thankful for that as well. I'm also thankful for my bike. I love my Straggler, it's awesome, and it does a great job of getting me where I need to be.

I'm anticipating thankfulness... we'll be at our new place in FL for three weeks over the holidays and then moving permanently in May. The place we picked will allow us to ride to everything! Groceries, shopping, the beach, coffee shops, everything!!

I'm thankful for this forum and the collective wisdom of all of us!
I'm thankful to have rediscovered cycling after a 15+ year absence.
I'm thankful to be dating a fellow cyclist.
And like Crankin, I'm really really thankful for my new bike.
Blessings to all!

Thanks VBC, so looking forward to getting away from the snow and ice and getting back to the beach!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Mmm, bicycle related is tough since I haven't been riding. I'm grateful that I'm starting to miss it. Grateful that there's now a slow group I can join, since I know I can't keep up with the people I used to ride with. Looking forward to getting back into town where I can ride my commuter bike to everything.

Part of my resolution this year is to focus more on grateful to and less on grateful for. I'm grateful to Susan and her colleagues for creating this amazing space. Grateful to Jeff and all the mods for maintaining it. Grateful to each one of you who's lent me wisdom, support, humor and companionship over the years. Thank you all.

Oak, when I was getting the fitting for my new bike and when I went to pick it up and have the adjustments done, the 2 fitters (one the owner) commented how knowledgable I was. I know I always comment about how unmechanical I am, so while I can't do the work, I do understand an awful lot about how bikes work. And all of it was learned from the collective wisdom of TE. I feel like a lot of the people here are friends. I've met many TE'rs and it's always been a good experience.
So yes, I am thankful to Susan and Jeff.

Just being able to cycle and sharing bicycling passion with my partner for past many years.

I'm thankful for the wealth of trails in our area too; for the club which pushes for improvements in cycling infrastructure, educates the public and provides opportunities to train for and to do major rides and tours. I'm thankful that I have a great riding buddy and partner and many opportunities to zoom along on our beautiful Blue Betty.
