Well, I'm all for not riding drunk, but I'm also all for not physically resisting a property crime. The first thing they teach in self-defense class, or to convenient store clerks, is that if all someone wants is your property, just give it to them. It's not worth injury or death. A high school friend of mine lost several teeth when she was bike-jacked, and I don't think she actually tried to fight back, just tried to ride away.
