Hi Everyone!

It's been so long since I posted! I feel like a schmuck. But I know whenever I need help with something, you ladies have been so awesome!

My cycling shoes finally fell apart, and I got new ones. Trouble is, I can't figure out how the heck to get my SPD cleats onto these shoes. Do I need to cut away the rubber that is over the holes? Here's a photo. I'm really stumped:

I'd appreciate any help at all....thank you in advance!

It looks like the rubber panel where the cleat goes should pull out and you'll be able to attach the cleat underneath.

Thanks! Yes, I think I have to remove that rubber part; will have to cut it out somehow. I also noticed on the inside of the shoe, there's a removable metal plate with holes. I think I'm going to take them to my LBS and pay them to do it!

The removable metal plate with holes is what you will screw the new cleat into. It's not really that hard to do it yourself, but I understand being hesitant about it!
