Another newbie

I have been riding since last August on a Hybrid bike, so far my longest trip was 30 miles. I am hooked. My husband just bought me a Felt Road bike for our 25 anniversary (not til Sept but gave it to me early)! I am so excited. It is still at the shop getting some finishing touches, computer etc. Now if only the snow would go and it would warm up!!

hi, congrats on your anniversary gift. Those Felt's are great bikes. I was seriously interested at the bike shop, but I could not get comfortable on one - apparently they are just not right for me. Enjoy it!

Hey im4smiley. Welcome and don't forget to check out the Northeast thread at the bottom of the page. There are a bunch of us from Mass and New England and we may be planning some rides when it gets warmer and the snow is gone.

I hadn't noticed the northeast thread, I will check it out. I have been riding mostly with my LBS group and by myself. I'd enjoy checking out some other areas. We got 4-5" of snow this weekend and it is supposed to be cold all week! I am impatient for Spring
