Didn't someone do this a while back with silicone automotive or bathroom sealant? Or am I hallucinating?

I have a stupid Champion System (I say stupid because ALL of their stuff fits me so horribly...shorts, jerseys, jackets, etc. It's all cut for women without a well-defined waist and/or big thighs. Everything that fits in once place doesn't fit elsewhere. None of their shorts seem cut for cyclists with anything other than stick legs or women with a small waist or boobs. Of course it's a bunch of guys who decided which company we'd have do our team kits) tri top for our race team that will. not. stay. down. I have this issue with all compression tops, which is why I typically avoid them. I regret ordering this top in the material that I did. So I'm hoping that by adding some sort of gripper at the hips that I can get it to stay at the hips, instead of riding all the way up to my natural waist, a good 6" higher than where the bottom should be sitting.

I do this with arm warmers. Get the clear bathroom silicone caulk in the small tube.

I've never tried it with shorts or tops, though I've threatened to do so with my horrible team shorts that ride up.

Cool! I just grabbed a tube of aquarium sealant (DH's bright suggestion), since I figured if it's safe for fishies it should be safe for me. Not that it will be touching my skin, anyhow. I'll report the results after the next time I wear the top.

Oooo....good idea on the aquarium caulk. I never thought of that!

Looking forward to hearing how it works with the shirt. I might be brave enough to try it with my shorts....

I'm curious how that works out. I bought some silicone based fabric paint at the craft store that I was going to use on the under shorts of a running skirt I have that fits great but just rides up a little. I figured the paint was designed to be washed, so it should be OK, but I don't know if it'll be thick enough or tacky enough to actually work as a gripper.

I didn't even think of bathroom caulk or aquarium sealant but those are really good ideas, too!
