every time it tries to act like spring I optimistically break out my spring biking outfit. Yesterday I was accused of being a "loud biker"

Maybe not loud but certainly trying to be visible.

Love it!!! I like bright, "loud" stuff, though. I'm not a subtle girl.

Tell me more about the flames paint job on the bike behind you.

My bike "red" is a trek project one customized madone 6.5 which I bought myself for my 65th birthday. It was just one choice among many for customizing.

today was the first bare legs ( sans tights) ride in about 6 months. Of course predictably another cold front is due so I've no doubt my "loud" outfit will make a few more appearances.

the tights are from aero tech, a company I love for reasonably priced bike clothing. . I am contemplating loud shorts next The jersey is Nederlands Oraanje a gift from a Dutch friend in honor of the years I lived in the Netherlands and the wind vest is an REI discontinued item. How good is REI? I joined when I was in college more than 30 years ago and they still had my membership! now that's commitment and service.
